PANTOPRAZOL protect 20 mg - For the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (e.g. heartburn, acid reflux)

Pantoprazole STADA® protect is a medication used to treat reflux symptoms such as heartburn and acid reflux, which are caused by the reflux of stomach acid into the esophagus. The active ingredient pantoprazole inhibits the formation of stomach acid, which reduces the acid content in the stomach and allows the irritated mucous membrane to regenerate well.

Pantoprazole STADA® protect is used for at least 2-3 consecutive days. It is recommended to take one tablet daily, unchewed, with a little water. The recommended daily dose is 20 mg of pantoprazole and this dose should not be exceeded. As soon as you are completely free of symptoms, you can stop taking the medication. If you do not notice any improvement after 2 weeks of continuous use, you should contact your doctor.

The gastro-resistant tablets contain 20 mg pantoprazole, which corresponds to 22.6 mg pantoprazole sodium 1.5 H2O. The other ingredients of the tablets include calcium stearate, carmellose sodium, crospovidone, maltitol, sodium carbonate, macrogol 3350, methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer, deoiled phospholipids from soya beans, talc, triethyl citrate, iron (III) hydroxide oxide x H2O, and titanium dioxide.
