Paracetamol 500 mg tablets, for mild to moderate pain and fever

FOR MILD TO MODERATE PAIN AND FEVER

The normal body temperature of a person is approximately 36 °C to 37 °C. A body temperature of up to 38 °C is considered a fever, and a temperature of 38 °C or higher is considered a fever.
Fever is an effective defense reaction of the body. One possible cause of fever is flu-like infections (colds). In colds, fever is usually accompanied by aching limbs, headaches and fatigue.

When taking medicines containing paracetamol (such as Paracetamol STADA® 500 mg tablets), other medicines containing paracetamol should not be taken without consulting a doctor.

How Paracetamol STADA® 500 mg tablets work
It is assumed that after taking the Paracetamol STADA® 500mg tablets, which have been tried and tested for decades, the drug passes through the blood-brain barrier into the head and inhibits the formation of messenger substances that are of central importance in the development of inflammation and pain. Paracetamol STADA® also blocks the effects of substances that act on the temperature regulation center in the brain. In this way, the drug relieves pain and fever.

Recommended use:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

The recommended dose of paracetamol depends on body weight and age, usually 10 to 15 mg per kg body weight as a single dose, up to a maximum of 60 mg per kg body weight as a total daily dose.
The respective dosing interval depends on the symptoms and the maximum total daily dose. However, the interval between individual doses should not be less than 6 hours.
The maximum daily dose (24 hours) must not be exceeded.
If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, you should consult a doctor.

Do not take Paracetamol STADA® for longer than 3 days without medical or dental advice.

Composition:
The active ingredient is: paracetamol.
1 tablet contains 500 mg paracetamol.

The other ingredients are:
Sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A) (Ph. Eur.), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.), povidone K 90.

Paracetamol STADA® has no influence on the ability to drive or operate machinery. Nevertheless, caution should always be exercised after taking a painkiller.

Taking Paracetamol STADA® together with other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.

Taking Paracetamol STADA® with food, drink and alcohol
Paracetamol STADA® must not be taken or administered together with alcohol.

Are pregnant or breastfeeding women allowed Take Paracetamol STADA®?
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

If necessary, Paracetamol STADA® can be used during
Pregnancy. You should
Use the lowest dose that relieves your pain and/or fever and you should use the medicine for the shortest possible time. Contact your doctor if the pain and/or fever is not relieved or if you need to take the medicine more often.

Paracetamol passes into breast milk. Since no adverse effects on the infant have been reported to date, interrupting breastfeeding is usually not necessary.
